MASTER'S DEGREE REQUIRED
4 years experience in mental health care settings and/or homeless service settings
Experience successfully managing a Medicaid-billable service team;
Experience working in the Guilford provider community;
Exceptional written and oral communications and interpersonal skills;
Strong time-management and multi-tasking abilities;
Experience supervising staff;
Ability to work independently and as a team member;
Ability to take initiative and focus on results;
Experience managing a Medicaid/IPRS billing software program with reporting functions.
Duties:
Provide clinical and administrative supervision of the team, including MSW interns.
Manage Medicaid and IPRS authorization and billing systems through AYM Technologies in
coordination with The Guilford Center and PUSH Development Community Support Administrative Office.
Direct and coordinate for each consumer the screening, admission, and treatment process in
coordination with the psychiatrist.
Direct and coordinate first responder crisis intervention services;
Supervise medical records management and client data reporting.
Oversee periodic client and program audits and supervise annual Medicaid cost report.
Implement Quality Improvement activities.
Provide input and guidance for agency’s accreditation process
Community Support Team Lead:
Community Support Team Leader professionals will deliver community support services, which may include:
1. Activities within the established person centered plan.
2. Skill building.
3. Input into the person centered plan modifications.
4. Daily and community living skills.
5. Socialization skills.
6. Adaptation skills.
7. Development of leisure time interests and activities.
8. Symptom management skills.
9. Wellness education.

Training requirements:
Staff must complete a minimum of 20 hours of training specific to the required components
of the community support definition including crisis response within the first 90 days of employment.
Some training must be completed before interacting with clients. Staff will need to be available for ongoing
training throughout employment with Push Development Community Support.

Community support services are provided in a range of community settings such as the
client’s home, school, homeless shelter, libraries, etc. Community support activities include person
centered planning meetings and meetings for person centered planning development Interest and ability to travel locally year round with occasional regional travel.
