Position Title: National Director - Business Development Requirements: * Automotive aftermarket experience with repair, installer, dealership and franchise operations a must * 4 year degree a must * Experience with service and repair software management companies a plus * Proven track record of business development at corporate levels a must * Articulation and proven command of the steps to closing deals * Experience in managing and planning strategies with a high level direct report staff * Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills * Proven success in new business development * Understand the components needed for developing solid business cases for deals * Well versed in tracking progress in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems * Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical and facilitation skills * Proven ability to think and act both strategically and tactically, and to work with all levels of industry management * This position has option to be based from home office - ultimate determination made based on current location * Significant amount of travel may be required Description: * Responsible for managing and closing high profile data deals * Manage the activities of a national dealer and aftermarket service and repair industry data acquisition team * Manage one executive who is currently focused on this market * Create and monitor key performance metrics and develop strategies / team performance goals needed to achieve the metrics * Effectively deploy and manage the Acquisition Managers in their efforts to close deals * Manage the development of team strategies and action plans and take lead in identifying internal and external resources needed to close deals * Develop strategies to identify new data partnership opportunities * Identify key prospect contacts and develop an execution model for each targeted prospect * Understand when and how higher level internal resources are needed to close deals * Address prospect issues that prohibit data access and data flow * Ensure an ongoing relationship with strategic partners * Manage internal infrastructure to track and monitor progress * Effectively communicate expectations and objectives to team members ensuring they are part of the planning process For confidential consideration, please attach your resume in Word document format and email it to Ralph Schroeder - ralph@aaegroup.com |
